In this pivotal role, you will report to the Senior Manager, providing vital technical support to maintenance personnel. Your responsibilities will engage you in hands-on coaching, managing technical failures, and enhancing reliability of locomotives and passenger rail cars. Help drive innovation while ensuring safe and timely operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide subject matter expertise in locomotive and rail car systems
• Coach Mechanical and Maintenance Services personnel
• Manage technical failures impacting train departures
• Review train delays and document defects in virtual logbooks
• Propose reliability improvements to the Engineering team
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or electrical/mechanical certification
• 8 years of experience with railway equipment
• 2 years as a Technical Advisor preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
