As a Senior Photonic Engineer, you will focus on designing and developing photonic networks featuring high-speed electro-optic modulators and integrated balanced homodyne detectors. This role demands strong expertise in pulsed homodyne detection and advancing quantum homodyne tomography. You will also work closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate your innovations seamlessly into existing architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design complex optical laboratory experiments
• Characterize integrated balanced homodyne detectors
• Develop new characterization strategies as required
• Measure detection efficiency and signal-to-noise ratios
• Collaborate with engineering teams for successful integration
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Quantum Optics, Photonics, or related field
• Strong hands-on experimental optics lab experience
• Experience with homodyne detection techniques
• Familiarity with RF and electro-optic concepts
• Over 4 years in quantum technology or photonics
