Position: HVAC Engineer for Biotech Facilities
Pharm Eng Technology is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to design and implement systems for biotech facilities in Toronto, Ontario. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

In this pivotal role, you will handle HVAC design engineering, focusing on equipment compliance, engineering specifications, and risk assessments. With a strong background spanning over 7 years in biotech HVAC design, you will also provide mentorship to junior engineers. You’ll engage with clients on specifications to achieve high-quality execution during the commissioning phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review selected equipment and instrumentation for compliance

• Assist in engineering calculations and P&IDs

• Oversee equipment installation and startup phases

• Conduct risk assessments related to quality and safety

• Mentor junior staff in HVAC design practices

Requirements:

• 6 to 10 years in Mechanical or Process Engineering

• 7+ years in HVAC biotech facilities design

• Knowledge of FDA and Health Canada regulations

• Familiarity with process control systems

• Strong communication skills in English
