Drive rail safety training at Metrolinx as a Lead Rail Safety Competence professional. Optimize training programs to enhance adherence to safety standards across the network.
In this in-office role, you will oversee the development and management of the rail safety competency management system. Leveraging your expertise in curriculum design, training, and safety legislation, you'll ensure contractors and staff are certified and compliant. Your leadership will directly impact safety practices and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement comprehensive training and certification programs
• Develop processes to maintain compliance with safety regulations
• Facilitate rail safety programs for diverse training modalities
• Conduct audits of contractor training programs for adherence
• Monitor compliance and manage risk assessments in the field
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• Extensive experience in rail construction and compliance
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license
• CROR accreditation experience is an asset
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
