Position: Toronto Senior Engineer for Tunneling Projects
Join Dr. G Sauer & Partners as a Senior Tunnel Engineer in Toronto, leading SEM supervision while ensuring project excellence. Your expertise will guide complex tunneling initiatives both locally and internationally.

In this permanent full-time role, you will lead a skilled team of SEM engineers and inspectors, ensuring all excavation and support processes meet design criteria. Your work will include geological assessments and communicating effectively with various stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. This position challenges you to optimize progress while adhering to rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely production of RES Sheets and reports

• Supervise a 24/7 team of SEM Inspectors

• Provide design-aligned support to contractors

• Identify geological and groundwater conditions

• Finalize compliance with quality management plans

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering

• P.Eng license in Ontario is advantageous

• Extensive experience in tunneling project management

• Solid understanding of SEM tunneling theory

• Excellent communication skills across disciplines
