Position: Infrastructure Ontario Energy Management Lead

In this pivotal role, you will oversee energy initiatives, ensuring alignment with IO’s strategic priorities while providing technical guidance and risk management solutions. Apply your knowledge of energy performance standards to support new construction and existing operational strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive enterprise energy and sustainability project initiatives

• Assess and mitigate energy-related risks for projects

• Advise on energy management practices across various building types

• Present continuous improvement measures to stakeholders

• Support the validation of energy performance against contracts

Requirements:

• Degree in environmental studies, engineering, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in energy management and sustainability

• Understanding of building codes and provincial policies

• Strong project management skills and quality management knowledge

• Proficiency in Excel and data management
