Urban Rail Systems Requirements Engineer at WSP

Join WSP as an Urban Rail Systems Requirements Engineer in the Greater Toronto Area and lead transformative rail extension projects. Your focus will be on systems requirements management and integration with existing transit lines.
In this position, you will be a key player in planning and executing requirements for urban rail projects. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of five years of relevant experience are required, along with expertise in IBM DOORS NG for maintaining compliance and traceability throughout the V-model lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IBM DOORS NG for requirements control

• Analyze and trace project requirements for accuracy

• Ensure effective allocation of requirements in design phases

• Document changes in accordance with change management

• Work with engineering experts on project execution
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• P.Eng. license in Ontario a must

• Minimum five years in systems engineering or transit

• Familiarity with IBM DOORS NG essential

• Knowledge of Metrolinx standards is an asset
