We are seeking an experienced Lead Senior Civil Engineer, Land Development who combines exceptional Civil Engineering expertise with project leadership, client relationship management, team development, and practice growth skills. This role is ideal for a highly capable Civil Engineer with demonstrated experience delivering land development, water resources, and municipal infrastructure projects in accordance with Ontario municipal standards, approval processes, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will possess expertise in feasibility studies, land development, site plan development and design, parking lot design, stormwater management and urban drainage systems, municipal servicing, Watermain Hydraulics Analysis (WHA), erosion and sediment control, Low Impact Development (LID), and the detailed design of municipal infrastructure. A strong understanding of development approvals, municipal engineering standards, and regulatory requirements is essential.
While leadership and client engagement are important aspects of this role, we are ultimately seeking a strong Civil Engineer with the technical expertise to lead complex land development projects from concept through construction.
Reporting to the Senior Leadership, you will serve as a technical leader within the Civil Engineering team, guiding project delivery, mentoring junior staff, working directly with clients and municipalities, and contributing to the continued growth of Mantecon's Land Development practice.
