Senior Track Engineer in GTA

GHD is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to lead track design efforts in the Greater Toronto Area. This hybrid role requires extensive experience in rail and transit engineering while collaborating with a dynamic team.
As a Senior Track Engineer, you will hold key responsibilities managing design inputs and coordinating team efforts. Collaborate closely with the Rail and Transit Business Lead and Project Managers, ensuring alignment on project objectives and technical scope. You will be pivotal in addressing critical design issues and fostering communication among diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design team coordination for track engineering projects

• Develop and verify technical project scopes

• Address critical issues in design meetings

• Ensure compliance with rail codes and standards

• Review shop drawings and coordinate site liaison
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario

• 15+ years in rail and transit engineering

• Deep knowledge of Canadian Rail Codes

• Strong communication and mentorship skills
