As a Lead Engineer at Sargent & Lundy, you will direct design efforts for transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 765kV. With a focus on compliance and technical accuracy, you will prepare detailed reports and mentor less experienced engineers on project specifications. This role also involves conducting independent reviews and ensuring adherence to the latest engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee design activities for high-voltage lines
• Mentor junior engineers in design and compliance
• Review and validate calculations and design outputs
• Prepare technical reports in line with client specifications
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders for project alignment
Requirements:
• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 12 years of relevant transmission line design experience
• 3+ years focused on 500kV and/or 765kV lines
• Proficient in PLS-CADD
• Familiar with engineering and safety standards
