SYSTRA OCS Design Engineer

Join SYSTRA Canada as an OCS Design Engineer, specializing in overhead catenary system projects for transport infrastructure. You'll oversee design delivery, ensuring compliance and promoting innovation throughout.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive engineering experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural engineering, focusing on the design and implementation of overhead contact systems. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure seamless integration between various engineering interfaces while mentoring junior engineers. Engage in all project phases from conceptualization to commissioning, playing a pivotal role in the electrification systems development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee OCS design and delivery integration

• Coordinate interfaces with various engineering disciplines

• Review contractor submissions and provide technical responses

• Mentor junior engineers in OCS design

• Maintain project records and documentation
Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering

• P.Eng. designation or eligibility

• Minimum 10 years OCS design experience

• Proficient in Micro Station and AutoCAD

• Effective communication skills in English
