Senior Environmental Sustainability Engineer

Become a key player in sustainability at Redpath Sugar as a Senior Environmental Sustainability Engineer in Toronto, ON. This position focuses on strategic planning and execution of sustainability objectives.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will help finalize the unit's Sustainability Framework and engage multidisciplinary teams. This role emphasizes promoting a sustainable culture and improving sustainability KPIs aligned with corporate responsibilities. Essential skills include stakeholder communication, analytical prowess, and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of sustainability strategies and plans

• Analyze and validate sustainability-related data and metrics

• Oversee projects aimed at resource conservation and impact reduction

• Promote CSR certification and manage audits

• Foster team engagement in sustainability initiatives
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, ESS, or similar

• Minimum of 5 years in Sustainable Development

• Experience with GHG Protocol and sustainability reporting

• Proven ability to manage collaborative projects

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
