Jacobs is on the lookout for a Senior Design Engineer in Ontario, specializing in Highways & Roads.

Your role will involve significant contributions to the design and delivery of complex transportation infrastructures. Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet both community needs and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the design of roadway systems and profiles

• Create and review cost estimates and project documents

• Produce detailed engineering drawings with the CADD team

• Maintain compliance with MTO and municipal requirements

• Support project phases from planning to tender preparations
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• 4-8 years in roadway design, knowledgeable in MTO standards

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario

• Experience in constructability assessments and project delivery

• Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills
