Drive innovation in rail infrastructure as a Senior OCS Engineer s mid-to-senior level position specializes in the design of overhead contact systems across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams responsible for OCS design and delivery, ensuring alignment with project phases and compliance with relevant codes. Your focus will be on promoting best practices and mentoring junior staff while maintaining technical excellence throughout all project stages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct OCS design for transit and rail projects
• Ensure integration of electrical and civil systems
• Approve designs and manage project documentation
• Generate and present design reports
• Guide team members and promote process improvements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
• Active P.Eng. designation in Canada preferred
• Ten years plus experience in OCS engineering
• Proficient in relevant design software
• Leadership and effective communication skills
