Hitachi Rail is looking for an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our diverse team in Toronto.
Your role will include implementing, analyzing, and maintaining Configuration Management processes to assure efficiency and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Leverage your knowledge of CM software to solve challenges and guide the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain the project/product Configuration Management system
• Analyze contractual requirements and prepare project estimates
• Manage and configure PLM systems for effective CM
• Lead audits and verification initiatives for accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for consistent CM practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• At least 5 years of CM or Systems monitoring experience
• In-depth knowledge of Configuration Management principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with version control and reporting tools
