Transmission Line Project Engineering Students

Join Valard Construction's 4-month internship program as an Engineering student. Engage in hands-on work on our Transmission Line project and develop essential skills in a supportive environment.

Valard Construction is offering two student internship roles for Engineering students from September to December 2026, one in Edmonton, AB, and another in Amherst, NS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance project planning, execution, and communication efforts. This co-op experience provides an excellent foundation for your engineering career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in project engineering and documentation processes

• Track material flows and project expenses

• Coordinate project schedules and track milestones

• Facilitate communication between staff and stakeholders

• Support estimating and data collection

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an Engineering program; one term remaining

• Eligible to work in Canada throughout the internship

• Understanding of technical documents and specifications

• Familiar with project management best practices

• Competent in standard computer applications
