Elevate your engineering career as a Power System Analyst with Jacobs. This role focuses on conducting crucial power system analyses for transmission and distribution substations.
Jacobs is seeking a Substation Studies Engineer with at least four years of direct experience in power system studies. You will develop and validate system models, evaluate equipment performance, and ensure compliance with various industry standards. Collaborating with a global team, you will also prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform load flow and short-circuit studies
• Develop and validate power system models
• Support substation design and engineering projects
• Prepare technical reports and presentations
• Manage project lifecycle from proposal to close-out
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in power system studies
• Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, or equivalent
• Understanding of IEC, IEEE, and CIGRE standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
