In this pivotal role as Senior Highway Engineer – Highway Lead, you will support the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario in delivering crucial projects involving road and bridge infrastructure. A minimum of 13 years of highway design experience, complemented by strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities, is essential. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead thorough design processes for highways and bridges

• Mentor engineering staff, providing technical oversight

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes throughout projects

• Collaborate with utility companies and contractual partners

• Develop project proposals, budgets, and timelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario

• 13+ years of progressive highway design experience

• Strong knowledge of MTO regulations

• Excellent communication for technical reporting
