Shape the future as a Senior Project Engineer in Toronto, Canada, focused on large-scale capital projects in food and beverage manufacturing. This role is an 18-month contract.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer with a decade of experience in managing engineering projects. In this role, you will lead projects from conception to delivery while working closely with diverse teams and external partners. A solid foundation in project management is key as you strive to meet project timelines and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project management for capital initiatives
• Oversee installation of new processing equipment
• Coordinate vendor and contractor interactions
• Conduct RFP processes and evaluate bids
• Support project commissioning and startup tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• 10+ years in capital project management
• Expertise in food and beverage manufacturing preferred
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Technical knowledge of capital equipment
