Stantec seeks a Structural Engineer specializing in mining projects to join the Energy and Resources team in Markham, Ontario. Engage in innovative design and analysis for industrial infrastructure.
In this full-time position, you will leverage your expertise as a registered Professional Engineer while working on various projects, including structural design for heavy industrial mining. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions while enhancing your technical skill set. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform structural design and analysis to applicable codes
• Develop designs through sketches and analysis software
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to meet client needs
• Conduct quality assurance on projects within guidelines
• Prepare project specifications and construction documents
Requirements:
• Registered P. Eng. with 12-15 years of experience
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Knowledge of structural design codes and standards
• Experience in mining infrastructure projects
• Willingness to travel for site visits
Excel in structural engineering design while contributing to pivotal mining projects with Stantec.
