Position: Senior Environmental Planner at WSP

In this hybrid role, you will oversee environmental assessments and permitting processes for essential water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. This position enables you to contribute significantly to environmental outcomes and client relationships across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental assessments for water infrastructure projects

• Deliver Municipal Class Environmental Assessments effectively

• Direct multidisciplinary teams for technical studies

• Design engagement programs with Indigenous Nations and stakeholders

• Provide strategic guidance on planning and permitting

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Studies or related discipline

• 10+ years of experience in environmental assessments

• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation

• Proven client relationship management skills

• Professional designations are an asset
