BAS Control Engineer at University

Join the University of Toronto as a BAS Control Engineer, overseeing innovative building automation systems in a full-time capacity. This role emphasizes performance optimization and alarm management within large facilities.

In this role, you will directly impact building operations by developing BAS surveillance schedules and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Track and report on BAS surveillance performance

• Guide the team in troubleshooting HVAC control issues

• Develop alarm management strategies in collaboration with managers

• Conduct reviews of building automation system documentation

• Engage in sustainability efforts in coordination with the University

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field

• Valid Ontario P.Eng. license and good standing

• 5 years of experience in building automation design

• Skilled in managing unionized teams under pressure

• Hands-on experience with automation networks needed
