Sheba Microsystems seeks a passionate Senior Camera Mechanical Engineer in Toronto, ON. Drive the design of innovative MEMS camera systems for various cutting-edge applications.

As a key player in our early-stage firm, you will focus on the design, testing, and performance benchmarking of advanced camera modules. This full-time position emphasizes your expertise in mechanical and optical designs, leveraging your extensive background in product development, especially in automotive settings. You'll ensure all designs meet rigorous specifications while collaborating closely with software engineers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and test advanced MEMS camera modules

• Define camera specifications and manufacturing requirements

• Create injection molded and sheet metal component parts

• Prepare detailed CAD models and inspection drawings

• Direct finite element analysis (FEA) engineers on designs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s/PhD in Mechanical Engineering

• Over 5 years of mechanical design experience

• Proven camera design and manufacturing expertise

• Proficient with 3D CAD software like Fusion 360

• Strong track record in mass production transition
