We’re looking for a detail-oriented and solutions-focused Commissioning Specialist - Electrical, to join our Science and Technology Division and play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex, high-performance facilities. In this role, you’ll help bring new and upgraded buildings to life—verifying that electrical systems are installed, tested, and functioning exactly as intended before they’re put into operation.

Acting as the bridge between design and operation, you’ll verify installations against design intent and contract documents, witness functional and integrated systems testing, and ensure deficiencies are identified, tracked, and resolved.
Your work will include collaborating closely with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and facilities teams to confirm the safe and optimal performance of electrical systems. You’ll prepare commissioning plans, schedules, and test scripts, review technical documentation, and produce clear, concise reports for both internal teams and external project stakeholders.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems—such as power distribution, emergency power, life safety, and building automation—who thrives in a client-facing role, enjoys problem-solving on site, and can apply a rigorous, methodical approach to quality assurance.
