Mechanical Engineering Associate at S&C Electric

As a Mechanical Engineering Associate, you will support the design of components for medium voltage switch gear and motor operators. We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in CAD, particularly 3D modeling. Your focus will be on modifying designs, creating engineering documents, and collaborating with various teams to bring projects to fruition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and develop product designs under senior engineers

• Create mechanical designs and associated documentation

• Prepare drawings for manufacturing and assembly purposes

• Organize new model development and manage production changes

• Provide engineering support for internal and external customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 0-2 years of related experience preferred

• Strong CAD skills, experience in Solid Edge is a plus

• Knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes

• Ability to handle multi-project workloads efficiently
