Geotechnical Engineering Field Manager CPKC

As a vital member of CPKC, you will lead geotechnical planning and execution to enhance railway infrastructure. The position demands interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and foster project optimization. Candidates will utilize advanced engineering practices while delivering timely responses to geohazards and managing contracts, ensuring the reliability of operations across the CPKC network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead field inspections for geohazard management
• Oversee system-wide tunnel inspection planning
• Respond to emergency geohazard incidents promptly
• Manage soil and rock slope stabilization contracts
• Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng or P.E)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel across Canada and the U.S.
