Assist in designing hand-held medical imaging products with Stryker’s Endoscopy team in Toronto. This role combines design, testing, and quality management in a 8-month co-op.
Stryker seeks a dedicated co-op student to contribute to mechanical design projects. Ideal for students in their third or fourth year of Biomedical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering programs, this role provides valuable exposure to the development of medical devices. Candidates should have prior co-op experience and a passion for engineering design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in releasing Engineering Change Orders (ECO's)
• Evaluate mechanical design options through testing
• Provide progress updates during team meetings
• Create test protocols and generate test reports
• Support prototyping and product development efforts
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Master’s or undergraduate engineering program
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software, preferably Solid Works
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management methods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with effective problem-solving abilities
