Project Manager, Operations Management

Position: Project Manager at Metrolinx
Shape transit projects with Metrolinx as a Project Manager, driving infrastructure development in the Greater Golden Horseshoe. You will oversee railway and transit initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

As a Project Manager in the Union+ East Harbour & Barrie Corridor Downtown division, you facilitate capital railway transit projects in alignment with Metrolinx’s goals.

Your role involves managing work plans, coordinating access for rail corridors, developing risk assessments, and presenting progress updates. Strong collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is crucial to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Work Plan submissions and compliance with governance standards

• Manage rail corridor access, ensuring safety and operational adherence

• Develop and maintain risk assessments for construction zones

• Coordinate external permits with stakeholders and municipalities

• Review consultant proposals and contractor submissions

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related field

• Experience in managing complex transit infrastructure projects

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Valid Ontario “G” Driver’s Licence for site visits
