Mechanical BIM Designer

Drive innovation at HDR as a Mechanical BIM Designer in Toronto, Ontario. Collaborate on cutting-edge building projects while employing Revit to create detailed Mechanical models.

This full-time position requires a technical degree with a minimum of three years’ experience. You will work closely with Mechanical engineers and other disciplines to develop and maintain Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems, focusing on high-performance data centers and sustainable designs. Your work will influence how Mechanical systems are implemented in the field via clear and precise modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate Mechanical BIM models and drawings

• Create detailed Mechanical design deliverables within timeline

• Prepare clear layouts and diagrams using 3D software

• Communicate BIM progress and manage workloads effectively

• Conduct Design Reviews and coordinate across disciplines

Requirements:

• Technical degree or minimum 3 years related experience

• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software

• Knowledge of A/E consulting practices

• Strong communication and detail-oriented skills

• Experience with 3D coordination tools
