Egis is seeking an Electrical Traffic Signal Designer with 3 to 5+ years of experience. This role supports the planning and delivery of roadway electrical projects while ensuring compliance with Canadian standards, such as the Canadian Electrical Code. You will prepare engineering documents, participate in design discussions and contribute to quality assurance initiatives throughout various phases of project development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare traffic signal design drawings and specifications

• Perform electrical design activities for infrastructure projects

• Coordinate design reviews with engineering teams

• Support project coordination and client meetings

• Verify design implementation through site reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering

• 3+ years of direct traffic signal design experience

• Knowledge of CEC, OTM Book 12, OPSD, and OPSS

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
