Instrumentation & Controls Engineer Role

Join Stantec’s Energy and Resources team as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, engaging in challenging projects in North America. This role is ideal for engineers focused on automation system design.

We are looking for an expert engineer to enhance our consulting team, responsible for project execution, including the design and development of comprehensive instrumentation and controls systems. You'll collaborate on multidisciplinary projects across sectors like mining, oil, and renewable energy. Experience in mining engineering will add significant value to our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of I&C construction drawings

• Specify instrumentation and participate in procurement

• Design control systems and integration

• Plan and coordinate with various project stakeholders

• Maintain quality control and design verification

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline

• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience

• Background in mining projects preferred

• Ability to travel (~10%)

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
