Advanced Structural Analyst in Propulsion

In this role, you will focus on analyzing structural components of propulsion and fluid systems essential for our medium-lift launch vehicle. With over seven years of experience, you will perform sophisticated FEA, assess load cases under varied conditions, and contribute to optimizing designs for robust performance. Collaborate with a team of experts from leading aerospace firms to innovate and enhance Canada’s capabilities for independent space access.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute structural assessments of propulsion chambers and nozzles
• Develop and run finite element analysis models
• Investigate fatigue and creep life under operational conditions
• Document stress findings and recommend improvements
• Maintain and refine analysis methods and tools
Requirements:
• 7+ years of structural analysis, especially with Ansys Mechanical
• Background in cryogenic fluids handling
• Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Ansys Mechanical, Python, and CAD experience required
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
