Lead Geotechnical Engineer - Major Projects

Egis is looking for a Lead Geotechnical Engineer to manage significant infrastructure projects across Canada. Utilize your extensive experience to shape engineering teams and guide effective solutions.

In this senior role, you will lead geotechnical teams at Egis, focusing on foundational design for airfield, rail, and energy projects. Your technical oversight will extend to conducting design analyses, project management, and maintaining client relationships. Collaborate across disciplines to implement innovative engineering solutions and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical leadership on major geotechnical initiatives

• Oversee and manage geotechnical design and investigation projects

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines on joint proposals

• Conduct site investigations and oversee construction phases

• Engage in business development and client relationship management

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of experience in geotechnical consulting

• Licensed with Professional Engineers Ontario

• Knowledgeable in engineering regulations and standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficient in relevant design software such as Geo Studio
