As the Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing all facets of engineering, drafting, and document control processes within the Toronto branch. Collaborating closely with the Operations Manager, you will monitor project quality and coordinate the Electrical Design team to ensure successful outcomes. Your ability to foster relationships with clients and across global ECG offices will be key to enhancing project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct engineering and design operations in Toronto
• Ensure engineering standards and project specifications are fulfilled
• Maintain quality assurance during the design and delivery processes
• Work on client engagement and business development activities
• Lead proposal preparation for projects
Requirements:
• Over 10 years of experience in engineering/design leadership
• Proven skills in managing teams and client interactions
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Familiarity with project controls and budgeting
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
