In this technical role, you will analyze combustion chambers, nozzles, and more while developing and testing finite element models. Your contributions will be vital in establishing a reliable propulsion system for Canada's first medium-lift launch vehicle and driving effective design changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform structural analysis on propulsion components
• Define load cases based on system operations
• Develop and run finite element models for stress evaluation
• Assess fatigue and creep life under varying conditions
• Document findings in formal stress reports
Requirements:
• 7+ years of structural analysis experience
• Proficient in Ansys Mechanical
• Background in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Experienced in cryogenic fluid analysis
• Able to work in fast-paced development settings
