Position: Director of Engineering for Autonomous Vehicles
Drive innovation in autonomous vehicle technology at NuPort as the Director of Engineering. Lead a diverse team of engineers while focusing on cutting-edge solutions in the transportation market.

You will be responsible for developing comprehensive technical roadmaps as the Director of Engineering at NuPort Robotics. Reporting to the CEO/CTO, you will oversee a talented engineering team dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art technology. Whether in the Greater Toronto Area or working remotely, your expertise will be crucial in defining the future of autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise execution of technical projects and architecture planning

• Collaborate to define detailed technical roadmaps

• Implement Dev Ops practices for efficient software delivery

• Lead engineers in perception and motion planning

• Provide insights on cloud infrastructure and productivity

Requirements:

• PhD in a technical discipline, with 7+ years experience

• Proficient in C++, Python, and ROS

• Deep experience with autonomous vehicle systems

• Knowledge of ISO
26262 and functional safety principles

• Proven technical writing skills for proposals and patents
