Bridges Structural Engineer in Ontario

AtkinsRéalis is hiring for a Structural Engineer to lead bridge engineering projects in Ontario. Engage in a hybrid working environment while managing critical structural design tasks.
As part of our Bridges Department, you will be responsible for overseeing project management and executing a variety of bridge projects.

Your role will include structural analysis, load rating evaluations, and guidance for junior engineers. Additionally, you’ll prepare proposals and participate in business development activities tailored to our clients in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering projects and structural design processes

• Analyze and evaluate bridge conditions and rehabilitation strategies

• Mentor junior professionals in their engineering duties

• Prepare contract packages and proposals for clients

• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering with P. Eng designation

• 7+ years of bridge and structural engineering experience

• Expertise with Canadian and American design codes

• Proficient in software tools like ETABS and Project Wise

• Strong organizational and communication skills
