Join Jacobs' Energy & Power Group as the Overhead Line Design Lead. You will spearhead innovative solutions in overhead transmission line design, supporting the company’s expansion in North America. Your responsibilities will encompass technical leadership, project management, as well as mentoring a team of engineers, ensuring high standards in quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical lead for overhead transmission projects
• Review and approve engineering designs and calculations
• Mentor and develop engineering personnel within the team
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and constructability reviews
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of transmission line engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years in engineering leadership roles
• Proficiency in software like PLS-CADD and AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills for client interactions
