As a Senior Staff Electro-Optic Codesign Engineer, you will be pivotal in integrating photonic and electronic systems within Lightmatter’s cutting-edge technology. You will drive improvements in electro-optic link performance by utilizing high-fidelity simulations and real-world measurements, enabling breakthroughs in AI computing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enhance simulation models for electro-optic links and devices
• Collaborate on joint simulation efforts with analog circuit teams
• Perform detailed analyses to recommend design improvements
• Support end-to-end contributions to optical link specifications
• Diagnose link performance issues and propose design solutions
Requirements:
• MS or PhD in relevant discipline with extensive industry experience
• Deep understanding of photonic device physics and system design
• Experience with simulation and testing technologies for photonics
• Proficient in Python for automation and scripting
