As an Automation Controls Engineering Specialist, you will be pivotal in providing engineering support across two key Atlantic plants. Responsibilities include PLC and SCADA programming, VFD configuration, and addressing technical issues in real-time. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to sustainability and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead diagnostics for unresolved technical issues
• Ensure rapid response for equipment downtime
• Program and maintain PLCs and SCADA systems
• Train electricians and assist with troubleshooting
• Oversee backups and configuration of automation parameters
Requirements:
• 8+ years in OEM machine building environment
• 5+ years of experience specifically in PLC programming
• Proficient with Siemens and Allen Bradley systems
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to work flexible hours during critical support periods
Deliver technical solutions and improve automation processes at Atlantic Packaging.
