Your role- Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development of designs and solutions while maintaining safety and balancing operational flexibility, reliability and whole-life cost.
- Prepare and model track alignment & profile drawings, trackplan schematics, trackwork specifications, and yard and maintenance facility general layouts, cross sections and details.
- Interface with multi-discipline teams, client and owner's'engineers
- Provide construction support services including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, Non-conformance reports, as-built survey analysis. etc.
- Perform analysis for ride quality and safety against derailment.
- Perform occasional field engineering services.
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Registration with PEO.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience.
- Familiar with relevant standards (AREMA, EN, TCRP, etc.).
- Solution-oriented, team player, resourceful.
- Able to handle multiple scopes on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Rail Track would be an asset.
