Elevate your engineering career with Sitka Power as an Operations Engineer, focused on renewable energy optimization in Calgary, with hybrid work options. This role blends equipment troubleshooting and analytics in a dynamic environment.
As an Operations Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the technical operation and continuous improvement of Sitka Power’s generation fleet. You should have at least five years in an industrial setting, preferably with hydro, solar, or wind technologies. This hands-on position allows you to analyze data and implement improvements that significantly enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot equipment across renewable energy facilities
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures
• Coordinate maintenance with site personnel
• Use historian data for performance and production loss analysis
• Contribute to asset management plans for the fleet
Requirements:
• Engineering degree or technologist diploma required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience
• Proficiency in industrial control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid provincial driver's license and ability to travel
