Sargent & Lundy is seeking a skilled Lead Piping Stress Engineer to guide project teams in piping evaluations and system analyses. With a focus on ASME codes, you will oversee the review of calculations, system designs, and compliance with technical standards.
Your role includes ensuring project deliverables meet quality and budget targets while mentoring junior engineers and liaising with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise project team engineering activities and schedules
• Review and approve complex calculations and designs
• Participate actively in design reviews for quality assurance
• Define specifications for systems and materials
• Prepare comprehensive reports and evaluations on engineering findings
Requirements:
• BS or MS in relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in piping engineering
• Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B&PV codes
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction
• Familiarity with piping design software and methodologies
