As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting customers and the sales team with pre- and post-sales application engineering activities. Your duties will involve technical consultation, maintaining application focus on advanced technologies, and introduction of new products. You will be crucial in ensuring customers understand and successfully utilize ZEISS hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and perform customer demonstrations in-house and on-site
• Provide technical consultation to Field Sales and customers
• Support new product introductions in North America
• Deliver technical after-sales support for customers
• Aid in software and systems testing for product development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings
• Understanding of 3D mathematics and programming techniques
• Excellent verbal communication and technical report writing skills
The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and problem-solving skills to enhance customer experience with ZEISS products.
