SLR Consulting is seeking a Senior Principal Metallurgist with over 15 years' experience in the mining industry. You will leverage your degree in metallurgical, chemical, or mining engineering to design and optimize processing plants, manage diverse projects, and contribute to feasibility studies. A blend of strong interpersonal skills and deep technical knowledge is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain high engineering standards throughout projects
• Design metallurgical test work programs and supervise
• Optimize processing plant layouts and operating costs
• Conduct technical audits and due diligence for projects
• Prepare reports and participate in NI 43-101 studies
Requirements:
• 15+ years industry experience in metal extraction
• Professional Engineer registration in relevant regions
• Expertise in international reporting codes, highly preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and client interaction skills
• Self-motivated with proven project management success
