At Qualus, you'll report directly to the Director of Engineering and focus on heavy industry projects. Your expertise will span structural design, technical support, and quality control for substation facilities and transmission towers using tools like SAP
2000 and MathCAD. You'll also mentor junior engineers and liaise with clients to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to structural design and technical support
• Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software
• Prepare and review detailed design documents
• Review vendor documents against specifications
• Oversee project resource planning for structural discipline
Requirements:
• Structural Engineering Degree with P.Eng. designation
• 8-10+ years of structural design experience
• Familiarity with BC Hydro projects preferred
• Knowledge of Canadian codes and standards
• Strong communication skills in a professional setting
