Position: Dealer Supervisor 2-GCT
Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Gaming Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of table games operations in the Salon/Salon Premium area while establishing and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Provides input on performance evaluations and assists with the implementation all new table games initiatives. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadians learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Monitors Dealers in an assigned Salon Premium area and maintains game integrity; monitors game limits and cash/value transactionsEnsures all players rating is done in precise mannerProvides input for team member performance objectives and evaluationsParticipates in the implementation of table games strategic plansRequests fill/credit issuance as requiredVerifies cash/value transactions pertaining to floats, fills, credits and tipsResponds to, resolves or escalates issuesReports irregularities and suspicious activitiesAssists in allotting player seating and waiting listsMaintains a tidy work areaLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team membersEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedManages other initiatives as requiredEducation and Qualifications
High School Diploma:
Post Secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience an assetMinimum 2 years of experience in gaming managementMinimum 3 years leadership experienceFood Safety CertificationAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationComputer literacy in MS OfficeWork Environment Considerations
Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, non-traditional work hours.
