Drive live event success as an Engineering Technician with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. Play a pivotal role during NHL and NBA events at the Scotiabank Arena.
As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with the Engineer In Charge, setting up, troubleshooting, and operating the scoring/timing systems, ensuring an extraordinary fan and media experience. Ideal candidates possess broadcast technology skills and thrive in fast-paced environments where every second counts during live shows and events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate scoring and timing technologies for games
• Manage temporary and permanent AV equipment
• Quickly troubleshoot technical discrepancies
• Assist in the setup of digital signage systems
• Follow engineering guidelines for installations
Requirements:
• Background in audiovisual or live sporting environments
• Proficient with broadcasting equipment and troubleshooting
• Understand low-voltage connectors and termination
• Skilled using electronic test tools
• Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays
