Assembly Hall is seeking a Theatre Technician with hands-on experience in technical theatre. You will manage sound, lighting, and audio-visual setups during performances, ensuring a seamless experience for both performers and audience members. The role requires collaboration with external technical staff and proactive problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate sound, lighting, and AV equipment during events
• Oversee technical setups and maintenance for performances
• Collaborate with professionals and amateurs onsite
• Ensure audience and staff safety during events
• Set up and dismantle equipment and furniture for events
Requirements:
• Post-secondary program in technical theatre or equivalent
• Experience with computerized sound and lighting boards
• Ability to perform physical tasks and set up equipment
• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to obtain necessary safety training certifications
