Glitter Pop Productions is seeking a Stage Manager for our upcoming Toronto Fringe Festival presentation of In Search Of…

In Search Of… is a comedic, surrealist play that follows a young Black girl navigating her sexuality and discovering her own power. A chorus of boys shapes the world around her, guiding her journey from submission toward self-acceptance and empowerment.

• Review script and identify technical needs
• Create contact sheets and support rehearsal logistics
• Establish and maintain communication systems
• Run rehearsals and manage time
• Track blocking, line changes, and directorial notes
• Monitor props, costumes, and set requirements
• Distribute rehearsal reports
• Facilitate clear communication across the team
• Coordinate with the design team
• Integrate and refine technical elements
• Prepare and update cue sheets
• Call cues and support troubleshooting
• Call the show
• Lead pre-show checks
• Manage backstage operations
• Maintain consistency of the production
• Respond to and resolve issues as they arise

Contract period:
May – mid-July 2026. Honorarium: $900 + profit share. Fundraising efforts are ongoing, with the goal of increasing this fee.
